DIRECT CASHBACK INCENTIVE
With Morgana Studios you are eligible for a 50% Direct Cashback on the first million euros, 45% on the rest. This is applicable to foreign productions spending at least €200.000 on animation or post-production pipeline.
The Canary Islands (autonomous community of Spain) offer an attractive tax rebate that is successfully applied to audiovisual production thanks to the Canary Islands Economic and Fiscal Regime (REF) within the legal framework of the EU and Spain.
REQUIREMENTS FOR DIRECT CASHBACK
– Minimum investment of €200,000 on eligible concepts.
– Minimum total budget of project: €2 M.

AS A CASE EXAMPLE
A foreign production (non-spanish) with a total budget of €5 M, that spends €200K on animation works with Morgana Studios Canarias, will receive €100K back (50% of the eligible expenses), due to the Canary Islands Direct Cashback incentive.
This is a case example for clarification purposes. €200.000 is the minimum investment in eligible costs to be able to apply for the cashback.
Due to Canary Island regulations, there is a maximum deduction base of €18 million.
